Our Organization
Mayfair Neighbors Inc. was formed in 1977 with a mission to advance the common interests of the neighborhood by initiating and coordinating actions for the physical, economic, civic, and cultural improvement of Mayfair.

Mayfair is a cozy, progressive neighborhood five miles east of downtown Denver. Our neighbors are diverse, as are our homes and businesses. Mayfair is bolstered by other great Denver neighborhoods including Park Hill, Bellevue-Hale, Congress Park, Hilltop, Montclair, and Lowry. Mayfair became part of Denver in 1902, but was not officially named until after World War II. Baron Walter Von Richthofen described Mayfair as “The Beautiful Suburban Town of Denver” in 1885, recognizing its great attributes like large home lots, wide streets, and its proximity to downtown. Mayfair is only a quick bike or bus ride to areas like Cherry Creek and 9th & CO.
Mayfair boasts many shopping and restaurant areas such as 14th & Krameria and Jersey Street Shoppette, plus a slew of shops along Colfax Avenue with our community gem at the center of it all - Mayfair Park. Whether your new to the neighborhood or someone who has lived here for many years, thank you all for making Mayfair such a special place to live!
